This roller dresser, a high-precision general-purpose type, achieves quick delivery while maintaining the performance of conventional products. This roller dresser is designed to meet the needs of those in charge of prototype development, etc., who place priority on quick delivery.

Diamond roller dressers are used for forming and dressing fired abrasive grinding wheels and CBN wheels. Since these dressers are capable of accurate and speedy form dressing, they can effectively be used to mass produce work parts with a high degree of accuracy. Diamond roller dressers are available in sintered and electroforming types.

NEO STAR wheels are bonded with polyimide resin, which has excellent heat resistance, tensile strength, and elasticity. It can be used for grinding that requires long-time shape retention, heavy-duty grinding, creep-feed grinding, efficient grinding of high-hardness steel (HRC67 higher), and grinding of relatively low-hardness steel (HRC40-50 ) that requires long life.

Asahi Diamond produces various types of precision wire drawing dies, such as those applicable to gold and other soft wires used in the manufacture of semiconductors. It also markets various types of drawing dies. Natural diamond, SUNPAX, and synthesized single-crystal diamond are used for wire drawing dies, such as formed dies, guide dies for tin-plated wires, diamond nipples, and others.

Diamond sprue bushings are ideal for injection molding of filler-reinforced plastics. They offer excellent wear resistance and help prevent “progressive wear at the nozzle contact point,” which is a common cause of resin leakage issues. These bushings are crafted from high-quality diamond, a material that—in addition to its high hardness—exhibits low wettability. Furthermore, their service life is more than 10 times longer than that of conventional iron-based metal bushings. This also helps reduce waste.

By using diamond for water jet nozzle, water stream width can be minimized and directness and ultrahigh pressure achieved, resulting in higher precision and longer life. Furthermore, by expanding the width of the water stream, the nozzle can also be used for cleaning and removal of burrs.

The accuracy of the wire guides determines the precision of wire electrical discharge machining(EDM), which is used for metal forming processes in various industries. Asahi Diamond has developed this highly functional diamond wire guide jointly with an electrical discharge machining equipment manufacturer.

・Ribbed Centers: By applying “Sanpax” to the tips of ribbed centers that support workpieces on lathes and grinding machines, we have achieved long-term, high-precision machining.
・Centerless Grinding Blades: By applying “Sanpax” to the wear-prone areas of centerless grinding machine blades, we have achieved high-precision, high-efficiency machining.
・Shoes and rests: The areas of a grinding machine that secure the workpiece require particularly high wear resistance. Using “Sanpax” in these areas makes it possible to maintain high machining accuracy.
・Probes: When measuring the dimensions of machined parts, using diamond or “Sanpax” on the tip of the probe provides high wear resistance and helps maintain measurement accuracy.

This is a vitrified grinding wheel made with general-purpose abrasive grains. It can be formulated into a wide variety of grinding wheel structures, ranging from soft to hard, and is highly effective as a dressing material for metal tools.

This grinding wheel is used for polishing as a final finishing step for metal products. It is ideal for superfinishing the raceways of various bearings and for superfinishing the outer diameters of needle bearings, roller bearings, and similar components.
