The Asahi Diamond Group has established the following 10 aspects of its Sustainability Policy as basic items to be observed by each and every director and employee in order to practice our management philosophy, contribute to society through our business, and achieve sustainable growth together with our stakeholders.
We will continue to act appropriately by thoroughly adhering to corporate ethics and compliance in order to realize a sustainable society and achieve continuous, sound development and growth of the Group into the future.

Human rights

Respect for human rights and prohibition of discriminatory treatment

We respect the human rights of all people and do not discriminate on the basis of nationality, race, creed, age, gender, sexual orientation, social status, or disability. We will also strive to eliminate discrimination in employment and realize equal opportunity and fairness in treatment.

Ensure diversity and acceptance

We respect the diversity of ideas and values of all people, enhance the abilities and job satisfaction of each individual, and transform each other's strengths into the power of a vibrant organization.

Harassment Prohibited

We respect the character and humanity of all people, and will not engage in any behavior or harassment (sexual harassment, power harassment, or any other form of harassment) that denies these qualities.

Prohibition of forced labor and child labor

We shall comply with the labor-related laws and regulations of each country and region, and shall eliminate forced or involuntary labor and child labor, which is the employment of children under the minimum age for employment stipulated by the laws and regulations of each country and region. We also demand the same of our business partners.

Respect for basic labor rights

In developing our global business, we shall comply with the laws and regulations of each country and region, and shall exercise moderation within the bounds of social common sense with respect to business entertainment, gifts, and invitations. Fair Trade

We shall comply with the laws and regulations concerning fair competition and fair trade in each country and region, shall not engage in cartels, bid rigging, market divisions, or other violations, and shall always conduct our business activities in a fair manner, paying due attention to our contacts with other companies in the same industry.

Prohibition of abuse of a superior bargaining position

We shall not act to the detriment of our business partners, including subcontractors, by abusing our superior position, and shall maintain equal relationships based on appropriate contracts in compliance with the Subcontract Law and other relevant laws and regulations of each country and region.

Respect for the Code of Conduct in International Transactions

We shall understand and comply with the laws and regulations of each country and region where we conduct international transactions, and shall prevent any improper acts before they occur. We will also respect the religion, customs, culture, and traditions of each country and region. Response to Violations of Laws and Regulations

If, through our business activities, we become aware of any wrongdoing or suspected wrongdoing in violation of laws, regulations, or internal rules, we will promptly report it to our supervisor or the internal reporting office for investigation, corrective action, and prevention of recurrence, and we will take strict action against the violating behavior.
