Continuously improve the environmental management system.
We have established an EMS (Environmental Management System), and all of our domestic plants, as well as Yamanashi Asahi Diamond Industries, Ltd. and Koremura Asahi Diamond Industries, Ltd. and our overseas subsidiary Asahi Diamond Europe have obtained ISO14001 certification. Our main products, diamond tools, are widely used as environmentally friendly tools. Among them, our electrodeposited diamond wire "EcoMEP" can significantly reduce greenhouse gas (CO2) emissions during use compared to the conventional loose abrasive method. It is widely used in the manufacturing process of environmentally friendly products such as solar panels and sapphire substrates for LEDs, making a significant contribution to the environment. In addition, we are promoting environmentally friendly product manufacturing through our "Green Procurement Guidelines. Furthermore, we are making company-wide efforts to reduce greenhouse gas (CO2) emissions and are striving to implement medium- to long-term environmental measures, such as environmental education and awareness programs for employees.
Background of ISO 14001 Certification
All domestic plants and Yamanashi Asahi Diamond Industrial obtained ISO14001:1996 certification from JCQA (Japan Chemical Quality Assurance)
