Asahi Diamond Industrial Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Asahi Diamond”) and Tokyo Seimitsu Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Tokyo Seimitsu”) have established a joint venture company as of May 9, 2025.

(2) Future Initiatives
First, a pilot line will be established in Asahi Diamond's Chiba Tsurumai Factory in Ichihara City, Chiba Prefecture, to develop and test manufacture high-quality, competitively priced hub blades by combining Asahi Diamond's strength in diamond tool development with Tokyo Seimitsu's strength in dicing application technology. A mass production plant will be constructed at a different location, and mass production and sales will commence in the second half of FY2027, aiming for a 10~20% share of the market in the initial stage. The hub blade market is estimated to exceed 30 billion yen in FY2023.
